Tre Stelle

Although similar in shape to the adjacent Trifolera MGA, with the exception of the vineyards bordering on Rio Sordo, the Tre Stelle MGA enjoys a more open and luminous position, at least at the upper-middle part of the ridge. The vineyards overlooking Ferrere and Vallegrande MGAs are completely different in terms of soil and exposure and can be considered a westward extension of Basarin MGA. From the latter vineyards, as well as those extending into the Marcarini MGA, come the grapes for the Barbaresco Vanotu of the Pelissero winery of Giorgio Pelissero.
