Garassino

Treiso and Alba
Garassino

This small MGA, which occupies the last part of the hill of Nervo and Rizzi (where exposures turn further westward) contains only a thin strip well suited to the cultivation of Nebbiolo grapes for Barbaresco. The wines which are produced are reasonably substantial but less floral and elegant than those of neighboring Rizzi.
