The Sites

Although the work of officially delimiting more specific areas within an appellation is a rather recent thing, this is not to say that Italy cannot boast countless sites associated with high quality viticulture.

Sites that will be analyzed and selected in this section according to criteria that may differ greatly from one another. Most often they will be single vineyards or entire hillsides known for their history and for the character of the wine they produce. Other times, as in the case of Morena di Monterotondo, of places that cannot be defined as real “cru” , but which are nevertheless worthy of in-depth study because they are extremely representative of the appellation in which they fall.

A section born and conceived therefore as a real repository of ideas, stories, reflections and insights, destined to grow over time through maps, images, testimonies, as well as through subsequent updates and more content.
