Barbaresco
Martinenga

Centered around the Martinenga estate at the foot of Asili and Rabajà, this MGA is one of the most famous and impressive of the appellation and is distinguished by the elegance of its wines, personified in the starkest of terms by the Barbaresco Martinenga of the property. Within its confines the finest areas are Gaiun, just below the hamlet of Asili, and Camp Gros, which can be seen as the extension towards the valley floor of Rabajà. The first gives wines of elegance and a structure similar to Asili, while the second has a vigor and austerity which, by no accident, give it a certain similarity to Rabajà.

Menzioni Vigna: Camp Gros, Gaiun.
