Treiso and Alba
Casot

This MGA, not wrongly considered as one of the most interesting of Treiso (and among the very first to be named on a label), represents the natural extension toward the valley of the warmest part of the Giacosa MGA. Exposure is therefore similar, but the altitude is lower and the position is a little less open, which favors the vineyards near the border of Giacosa and the hamlet of Casotto, as well as those toward the border with Marcarini. Serving as a reference is the Barbaresco of the Nada family, historical standard-bearer of this MGA, whose style of wines is distinguished by rigid elegance, pronounced minerality and thus strong character.
