Bordini

The Bordini zone, as currently defined by the MGAs rules, can be divided, in general terms, into two principal sectors. The first, which sprawls around the hamlet of Bordini, consists of a ridge line which, on one side, faces Balluri, Starderi, and, partially, Albesani. The other side faces the historic center of Neive and contains the finest sites of all for high-level Nebbiolo. The second sector, instead, extends around the Le Doti and Montesommo estates, where the best plots enjoy a western exposure. The wines, in both cases, are well structured, while the style varies from the austere and earthy character of Bordini to the more rugged personality of Le Doti and Montesommo.

Menzioni Vigna: Montesommo.
