Asili

The Asili MGA, which extends in a 360° arc over the hill of the same name, has a very wide spectrum of exposures. The most renowned, as is so often the case, face south and southwest overlooking and flanking the Martinenga MGA. Cooler, but still of notable value is the basin bordering with Faset, while the vineyards with northern exposures are of lesser interest. The best Asili wines, like those of Martinenga, are usually focused more on elegance than structure, with rigorous though almost never aggressive tannins and a delicate fruit component. In other words, the quintessence of finesse.
