Serracapelli

Neive
Serracapelli

Located close to the border with the province of Asti, and thus at the northern end of the Barbaresco appellation, the Serracapelli MGA has its main nucleus in the hilly island that culminates in the hilltop dominating the Vigna Messoriano. With the exception of the north and north-east facing slopes, the rest of the MGA boasts well exposed vineyards in often open and luminous positions, certainly among the best in this area. The wines are also well characterised, favouring an elegant, well-polished and generally fruitier approach than in other areas of this commune. A character that can also be found in the better exposed vineyards of Pallareto (Poderi Elia).

Menzioni Vigna: Messoirano.
