Ronchi

Beyond the twin indentations of Montefico and Montestefano, the Eastern Slope of Barbaresco return towards a more regular topography, just as in the case of Ovello, indeed more so as the exposure remains mainly to the east. In the part that overlooks the vineyards of Cottà, the most important MGA in terms of surface is Ronchi, whose value has been proved often in recent decades thanks to wines of character not dissimilar from those of Montestefano, though sometimes with rougher a tannins.
