Barbaresco
Roccalini

More easily observable with a drone than on the field, the Roccalini MGA is less well known than it deserves to be. The good soils and above all the good exposures, particularly in the upper part of the amphitheatre between the western boundary of the MGA and the Berchialla farmstead, make Roccalini one of the most interesting areas in the entire Barbaresco area (with potential not far from that of the best Roncagliette vineyards). It is no coincidence, therefore, that Bruno Giacosa regularly bought grapes from Cascina Roccalini in the past, before the owners started making their own wine.
