Rabajà

Extending all the way to the boundary with Trifolera, Rabajà occupies the highest part of the slope between Asili and the vineyards of Trifolera. Unlike what a cursory glance might suggest, however, the slopes of Rabajà are anything but homogeneous and can be divided, in approximate terms, into two different sectors. The first, bordering on Asili, coincides with the impressive amphitheater which overlooks the Martinenga estate and has an exposure which ranges from west to southwest. The second, instead, is more uniform and faces southwestwards, even if, within this sector, there are certain oscillations of position due to the pronouncedly ondulating character of the terrain. The character of the wines, in both sectors, is more substantial and firmly tannic compared to Asili and Martinenga, even if towards the Trifolera MGA a leaner structure and more mineral notes can also emerge.
