Montefico

Moving in a southerly direction along the eastern flank of Ovello, at Cascina Montefico the slope rotates abruptly toward the south, creating a small but profound basin behind Montestefano. Within this basin are many vineyards with ideal altitudes and, above all, exposures for Nebbiolo. As opposed to Montestefano, and almost certainly because of the soil, the wines of Montefico focus less on structure and more on elegance and magnitude of aromas.

Menzioni Vigna: Bric Mentina.
