Treiso and Alba
Giacone

Covering a vast area still little exploited in terms of wines produced, the Giacone MGA extends from Rocche Massalupo up to the ridge leading to the hamlet of Castelletto. Within the area two main sectors can be distinguished: the first, with southern and southwestern exposures, faces largely on Rocche dei Sette Fratelli and is characterized by soils which are often very white and by altitudes which rapidly rise from the Basso estate to the Giacone estate; the second, instead, from the Basso estate to the Basso Soprano estate, has a cooler exposure, slopes of a less accentuated steepness, and evoluted soils, at least on the surface. The wines, in both cases, have good structures, and a greater minerality on the south-facing side.
