Cottà

Divided in half by the road which descends from the hamlet of Masseria towards Tetti, the zone of Cottà is unquestionably among the best known of Neive and also one of the first to have been produced as a single-vineyard Barbaresco. The slopes which approach Barbaresco, in particular, have gentle contours, and – with the exception of the vineyards which actually border on Barbaresco – are well exposed. The wines which are produced – today as in the past – are among the solidest of all of Neive, but without excessively vigorous tannins.
Menzioni Vigna: Brichet.
